All of our Recovery-7 appliances have an inherently high MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) and an insanely high MTTDL (Mean Time to Data Loss.) This is achieved through technologies like RAID-1, RAID-10, and RAID-6 coupled with redundant fans and dual power supplies in some models. But the hardware is only the beginning. Like all of our appliances at Unitrends, these appliances support iseGrid in order to allow customers to create a RAIN (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Nodes) architecture. Of course, with the support of iseGrid comes the inherently scalable capability of our appliances - you just add another appliance to handle your data protection as your needs grow. These attributes are all wonderful in terms of feature/functionality, but what sets the Recovery-7 series apart is the fact that not only do we not charge per supported platform as many of our competitors do, but we don't even charge for the amount of storage used. The Recovery-7 series is limited only by the physical storage and the performance of the networking and compute engines. Of course, if you need more capacity or power - you simply add another and manage it from our single pane of glass web 2.0-based user interface. |
