Our D2D backup appliance provides a network-based backup solution for NAS, enabling enterprise-class data protection and backup and recovery with an appliance designed from the ground-up for small and medium businesses.

Up-to-date D2D NAS Backup Software
Unitrends supports D2D backup and recovery for all NAS filers (network filers.) We offer backup of NAS filers in one of two modes:

• Direct: A NAS filer may be protected directly from our backup appliance. We support a mounted direct attachment method which allows concurrent backup streams for the fastest possible file-based backup performance.
• Indirect: A NAS filer may be protected indirectly through the server, workstation, PC, or notebook that mounts the NAS filer. In this case the backup appliance performs a NAS backup through the computer which has the NAS mounted.
