The amount of data you can protect is primarily dependent upon two factors: the WAN uplink bandwidth you are able to devote to vaulting and the rate at which your data changes. Both of these factors are unique on a customer-by-customer basis; thus customers must ultimately be responsible for either increasing the amount of uplink bandwidth available for vaulting or decreasing the amount of data being vaulted.
The table below depict the recommended typical values for the amount of data that can be protected by vaulting given a variety of uplink bandwidth speeds with a 5% data change rate:
