Wayne L. Hunter › Managing Partner, Harbert Venture Partners

Mr. Hunter is Managing Partner of Harbert Venture Partners and serves on the boards of Airimba Wireless, Broadsource, Privaris, TapRoot and Unitrends. Prior to joining Harbert in 2002, he was Managing Director and Head of First Union's Technology Investment Banking Group. In addition, he was a member of First Union's Private Equity/Venture Capital Fund Investment Committee and served on First Union's Investment Banking Management Committee. He has more than fifteen years of experience working with leading entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. During his tenure in investment banking, he advised on more than one hundred financing and M&A transactions totaling $24 billion. His mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory experience encompass the software, IT services, communications services, and equipment sectors. Mr. Hunter received a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University.

Tom Dann › Managing Director, eCentury Capital

Prior to co-founding eCentury Capital, Tom advised early-stage and later stage technology companies on strategic and legal matters ranging from financing strategies, capital structure and general business advice to debt and private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, and trademark and copyright issues in his private law practice. Earlier in his career Tom worked with financial holding companies, financial institutions, acquirers of financial institutions and bank startups, advising such institutional clients on matters ranging from regulatory capital issues to affiliate transactions and regulatory compliance. Tom received a BA from Stanford University and JD from American University Law School. He is a member of the California, Maryland and District of Columbia Bars. Tom is a director of Revonet, Maxion Technologies and Unitrends.

Richard Holcomb › General Partner, Aurora Funds

Mr. Holcomb is a serial entrepreneur in the Research Triangle Park, NC area. His newest venture is StrikeIron, Inc. a technology company founded in 2002 that is focused on the emerging web services software market, where he served as CEO until December 2005 and is currently Chairman. Prior to founding StrikeIron, he served as the Interim CEO of GadgetSpace, a wireless technology company, and oversaw its successful acquisition by Inphonic (Nasdaq: INPC) in 2001. He was a founder of HAHT Commerce in 1995, a major e-commerce application provider, and served as HAHT's first CEO and Chairman prior to its acquisition by GXS. Prior to HAHT, he was a founder of Q+E Software in 1986, a supplier of client-server database access technology, and served as that company's CEO, president, and chairman from inception to its acquisition by Intersolv (Nasdaq: ISLI) in 1994. Mr. Holcomb is currently a Venture Partner with The Aurora Funds in Durham, NC, and is on the board of the portfolio companies Covelight, Synchris, and Unitrends. He also serves on the corporate boards of several public and private technology companies including Neon Systems (Nasdaq: NEON), ChannelAdvisor, IITS and Ultimus. During his career, Mr. Holcomb has won several awards including the 1993 Ernst and Young Technology Entrepreneur of the Year for North Carolina and the 1996 Business Leader Top Gun Entrepreneur of the Year. Mr. Holcomb received a B.S. from the University of South Carolina and an M.S. in computer science from North Carolina State University.

Larry Wilson › Managing General Partner, Trelys Funds

Larry Wilson is a Managing General Partner of Trelys, the leading venture capital firm based in South Carolina. He is the former chairman of the board, president, and chief executive officer of Mynd Corporation, formerly Policy Management Systems Corporation (PMSC). With corporate headquarters in Columbia, South Carolina, Mynd had approximately 6,000 employees worldwide and was a leading provider of application software, related automation support and outsourcing services designed to meet the needs of the global insurance and financial services industries. Mynd was a publicly held corporation, listed on the New York Stock Exchange. As the founder of PMSC in 1974, Mr. Wilson served as its chief executive officer from its public offering in 1981 until its merger with CSC in December of 2000. Larry is a 1969 graduate of the University of South Carolina (USC) with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, and he received a Masters of Business Administration degree from USC in 1970. Among the many honors he has received, Larry was named one of the top three CEOs in the computer software and services industry five times by The Wall Street Transcript. He received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from USC's College of Business Administration and the Yale University Cultural Achievement Award. He has served on numerous technology company boards including Ometric, ISSCO, Legent, Computer Application Systems, Inc., and Conita.
