Mike Coney › Chief Executive Officer
Mike has been president and chief executive officer since November 2009 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since September 2008.
Prior to Unitrends, Mike was president and general manager of Acronis Software, where he led the corporate strategy for North and South America. Prior to Acronis, Mike served as senior vice president of the Americas for Veritas until the merger with Symantec. Mike was also executive vice president of worldwide operations for Ingres Software Corporation and has held senior management roles at high growth companies such as Sun Microsystems and Monster.com.
Mike is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at the Wharton School of Business and earned a Bachelor's degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He also served with the US Army as a member of the Army Security Agency.

Dr. Mark Campbell › Chief Strategy/Technology Officer
Mark is the chief strategy / technology officer of Unitrends and has been a member of the Board of Directors since September 2009.
Prior to joining Unitrends, Mark co-founded mindAmp Corporation which provided high-technology business and software development consulting. Previously, he worked as the Senior Vice President of the Systems Management Business at Legent Corporation and thus led over one thousand marketing, product managers, project managers, and engineers in the United States and Europe. Mark left Legent after successfully helping steer the company in its acquisition by Computer Associates. Before joining Legent, Mark was a vice president at NCR Corporation where he had profit and loss responsibility for its $1.5B+ server business. In this capacity he was responsible for over fifteen hundred marketing, product management, and engineers in the United States, Europe, India, and China.
Mark earned a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and a doctoral degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of South Carolina and a degree in international business from INSEAD.

Tim Wallick › Chief Financial Officer
Tim Wallick has a broad financial and operational background that spans corporate acquisitions, tax and audit accounting, sales and manufacturing. His strong leadership experience within high-growth environments is complemented by his solid understanding of channel sales, manufacturing and inventory management.
Prior to joining Unitrends in March 2006, Tim spent five years as CFO of an entrepreneurial company in the fastest-growing segment of the aftermarket automotive industry. Previously, he was at Sun-Sentinel, a major daily newspaper and a subsidiary of the Tribune Company, where he played a major role in a multi-million dollar acquisition, and led the Finance department of the acquired company. Tim started his career in the tax and audit field working for Rachlin, Cohen and Holtz, the largest regional public accounting firm in Florida.
Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in 1996 and passed the CPA Exam in 1997.

Eric Dougherty › Vice President, Sales
Eric Dougherty serves as vice president of worldwide sales for Unitrends.
Prior to joining Unitrends, Eric served as VP of Channel Sales for Stratus Technologies. Earlier, he served in leadership positions at Rapid7 and Acronis. While at Acronis, Dougherty built and led the channel sales team that was a key contributor to revenues growing from less than $20 million to approximately $120 million in 3 years. He also has extensive experience working with growth companies and building successful sales teams in channel centric go to market models.
Dougherty has also held Senior Sales Management/Channel Development positions at Softricity Inc. (acquired by Microsoft), and Ecora Software Corporation (acquired by Versata), among others. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and currently serves in advisory board roles for Virtual Computer and Rapid7.

Bob Gagnon › Vice President, Channel Sales
Bob Gagnon serves as vice president of channel sales for Unitrends.
A graduate of Keene State College, Gagnon brings a 20 year history of industry knowledge and experience to Unitrends. Prior to joining, Bob served as Vice President of Channel Sales for AppAssure (acquired by Dell). Earlier, he ran North American sales and operations for AVG, and at Acronis, he drove the SMB Reseller Program, the Dell strategic partnership, as well as channel operations.

Maria Pressley › Chief Evangelist
Prior to joining Unitrends, Maria was Manager of Commercial Information Systems Project Management at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. Earlier, she served as Director of Engineering at SteelEye Technology, and led the team that developed and delivered that company's flagship line of software products. Prior to SteelEye, Maria held progressively more responsible development positions over a 14-year period with NCR Corporation.
Maria earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Clemson University and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Joe Balazs › Vice President - Engineering, Support, and Manufacturing
Joe is responsible for all of Unitrends' engineering, support and manufacturing.
Joe brings Unitrends over 30 years of impressive industry knowledge and experience, which has already proven invaluable during Balazs' tenure on Unitrends' Advisory Board. Balazs has contributed his expertise to expanding the backup and disaster recovery company in areas of business development, sales, marketing and technology strategies.
Prior to joining Unitrends, Joe served ten years as Sr. Director S/W Development in EMC's Midrange Storage Division. There, he directed five global development teams and was responsible for all EMC Midrange Storage replication and efficiency products from conception through development, release and support.

Jennifer Sullivan › Vice President, Marketing
Jennifer Sullivan serves as vice president of marketing for Unitrends and is responsible for global branding and demand generation helping to fuel the next phase of Unitrends' growth.
Prior to Unitrends, Jennifer served as VP of Marketing for Nasuni Corporation. She's held several senior marketing, operations and inside sales leadership positions in a wide variety of organizations, from large established companies such as IBM and RSA Security, to several venture-backed, fast growing startups. Prior to Nasuni she was CMO at Ounce Labs during which time she helped with the company's acquisition by IBM in 2009. At Plateau Management (acquired by SuccessFactors in 2011) she managed the global demand generation team, along with inside sales and RFP teams. Prior to Plateau, she spent over 7 years at Unica (acquired by IBM in 2010) during which she supported several acquisitions and their IPO in 2005.
She holds a BA, cum laude, from Boston University and an MBA, magna cum laude, from Babson College, and is coach/mentor in Babson College's Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork (CLTP) Program.

Daniel Wixon › Vice President, Customer Support
Daniel Wixon brings nearly 20 years of experience in customer service and support area to Unitrends which will serve him well as he’s tasked with upholding the high standards Unitrends’ customer support team has already set and maintaining the program’s unparalleled success.
Prior to joining Unitrends, Wixon was the senior vice president of services at Peak 10, where he was responsible for customer support and loyalty, as well as product management, network engineering, cloud infrastructure, provisioning, managed services delivery and change management. Before that, Wixon held vice president of service delivery positions at Interland Inc. and Web.com. He’s also held managerial positions at Dell® and Gateway®.
Daniel holds a BBA in Finance from the University of South Dakota.

Kevin Moreau › Managing Director, EMEA
Kevin Moreau brings more than 15 years of international experience in Business Development, Sales and Operations, along with a mix of direct customer touch with a channel-centric approach which is perfectly suited for Unitrends’ acceleration in Europe.
Prior to joining Unitrends, Moreau spent over six years at backup software vendor Acronis. During that time, Moreau started the UK operation from scratch and built a team to support sales and channel development, as the UK General Manager. Moreau then started a Corporate Accounts practice for the SMB backup vendor covering North Europe to increase Acronis’ visibility and revenues with larger accounts. Moreau also has experience providing channel accreditation and acceleration in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, where he seeded the channel implantation for Acronis.
During his career, Moreau has also held several senior management and operational positions at companies including startups Collabrys and Rpost.com in the Silicon Valley. He spent a number of formative years working for B2B consulting firm Ducker Research, specialising in strategic analysis in technology markets, in Europe, South America and the United States, and opening a new operation for the firm in California.
