Email Notifications no longer coming through formatted properly

It has been just over a month now since I noticed a change in the way the notifications are displaying when received. Right now they show up as html/xml code instead of the formatted tables, columns rows, etc.
If I remember correctly, I performed an update on the DPU around the same time this issue started, which was after 2/2/12. I've not changed anything else with regards to the email account which is used to send the notifications through, the client that is/was being used to receive email or the address that the notifications are being sent to.
I can not confirm exactly when I performed the update prior to this last one I performed on 2/29/12. Is there a way to see when the updates were performed? Also, has anyone else experienced this issue? Are there any solutions?

Did you ever get a solution for this? I experienced the same problem several years ago, spent a lot of time with Unitrends support trying to get them to understand that the email reports were no longer readable, so basically useless to get an email report of backup status. I've never been able to get anyone to resolve the problem.

In version 6.4 a new feature was added and you can change the output e-mail format:

Select Simple.
