Lisa is our Chief People Officer and is responsible for defining and driving Unitrends' overall talent management strategy. She is an experienced HR executive, Organizational Development practitioner and strategic partner who focuses on the connections between talent development activities and business imperatives on a global basis. Her 25-year career spans several industries and areas of specialization with a single-minded belief: that actively engaged employees are a company's #1 competitive advantage.
She began her career in client-facing roles in advertising at such major agencies as Ogilvy & Mather and Digitas, among others, where she led engagements for clients including Sony, Microsoft, American Express and AT&T. She then transformed a decade of successful client-facing work into a thriving corporate university at Digitas (now DigitasLBi), where she was the Vice President of Global Learning & Development for seven years. She subsequently joined Ropes & Gray, a global Top 50 law firm, as the Director of OD, where she was responsible for new associate orientation, training programs, the associate review system, partner development and all individual and team performance coaching for 2,000 lawyers and staff. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President of Human Resources at the US division of Randstad, a Dutch company and the 2nd largest staffing firm in the world. In this role she oversaw all strategic talent management, M&A activity and HR operations for 3,000 people, as well as employee relations for 30,000 temporary workers.
Lisa is a cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College with a B.A in Russian Language and Literature.
