Solutions Review: Unitrends Releases New Recovery Series MAX Appliances
April 5, 2019 – Enterprise backup and continuity solution provider, Unitrends (a Kaseya company), recently announced new Unitrends Recovery Series MAX appliances that provide IT departments and MSPs with an entire data recovery environment.
The new appliances assist businesses that lack local recovery infrastructure. Without that infrastructure, small outages of a single machine force more difficult remote recoveries, which can increase downtime and reduce efficiency. Both MSPs and businesses with distributed remote locations suffer from this challenge. Recovery Series MAX offers data protection and recovery software, and comes equipped with computing power and block agent recovery to enable on-the-box recovery and hosting of failed applications on site. The appliances, sized at 1-8 TB, also provide Unitrends’ enterprise-level features, including ransomware protection, self-healing software, and proactive analytics.
