Channelnomics: Unitrends asserts independence with program updates

Unitrends has updated its channel and alliance program following its acquisition by Kaseya in May.
The backup and recovery vendor claimed the changes make it easier for partners to work with the company, and provide stronger margin opportunities, based on partners’ feedback.
Speaking to Channelnomics, Unitrends’ channel chief Clark Brown said the firm “recognized the importance of taking care of our best partners – those that have been committed to growing their business with Unitrends and continue to invest in the partnership”.
The updated program will run independently to Kaseya’s legacy channel program, with no transferral of partners between the two.
