We offer a web 2.0-based single pane of glass user interface to manage and monitor one or more appliances. We've invested heavily in this user interface since this is where the "rubber hits the road" with respect to delivering the lowest total cost of ownership data protection backup appliances.

The screenshot to the right is a depiction of what a customer sees after they log in to an appliance (note: in this case we emulated what a user would see in a situation where some of the protected systems were having severe problems so we can illustrate the "at a glance" diagnostic capabilities of the user interface.) In this case, multiple appliances are connected in what we term an "iseGrid" - which simply means that these multiple appliances may be managed and monitored together.

In addition to single-screen backup configuration, a backup wizard is avaialble for novice users that offers a step-by-step tutorial on creating either an immediate on-demand backup or a scheduled backup.

The screen shot at left depicts the first screen of the backup wizard.

 

Backup scheduling is incredibly flexible. The screen shot at the right of this text depicts the drag-and-drop nature of scheduling backup operations.

 

Graphical reporting is another feature of the user interface. The screen shot at the left of this text depicts capacity usage.

 

The screen shot at right is another graphical report. The screen shot at right depicts capacity usage against licensed capacity.
