Our D2D appliance provides a network-based solution for Novell Netware backup, enabling enterprise-class data protection and backup and recovery with an appliance designed from the ground-up for small and medium businesses. While Novell has discontinued active development for Novell Netware (in favor of OES) there is still a thriving community of Novell Netware users whom we support.

Up-to-Date D2D Backup for Netware

Unitrends supports backup and recovery for the following distributions and versions of Novell Netware:

• Release 5
• Release 4

We offer TSAFS (Target Service Agents for File Systems) based protection with backup and restore of full trustee right. We also offer BareMetal support with an integrated BareMetal optimizer for Novell Netware which allows a much smaller backup footprint than competing Novell Netware data protection products.

Integrated D2D Backup for Netware

Unitrends uses a common D2D backup and recovery engine for providing protection for over 100 different versions of operating systems and applications. This means you can support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, Sun Solaris, Novell OES, Novell Netware, Novell GroupWise, Novell eDirectory, Linux, FreeBSD, Apple MacOS X, IBM pSeries/AIX, HP HP-UX, SCO UnixWare, SCO OpenServer, IBM iSeries/OS400, and SGI IRIX on notebooks, PCs, workstations, and servers and on DAS, NAS, or SAN storage.

All of our D2D backup appliances support all of these operating systems and applications with no "backup tax" - there are no license limitations for the backup support of different operating systems and applications.
