Paul Brady

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Paul joined Unitrends from ObserveIT, where he served as CEO of the security software company. Prior to that, Paul was senior vice president and general manager of the Performance Management business unit at Riverbed Technology, were he grew revenue from $12 million to $250 million in 5 years. Other senior leadership positions include president and CEO, Mazu Networks; president, Guardent; senior vice president, Exodus; CEO, Cohesive Technology Solutions; Founder and CEO, Business Technologies Inc. Paul holds an MBA from the Sloan Business School at MIT, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems from Hofstra University.

Dr. Mark Campbell

CHIEF MARKETING & TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Mark joined Unitrends from mindAmp, where he served as CEO of the high-technology business and software consulting company. Prior to that, Mark was SVP and GM of worldwide systems management at Legent Corporation (acquired by Computer Associates.) Other senior leadership positions include VP and GM of AT&T’s worldwide enterprise systems business unit, and VP and GM of NCR’s worldwide server business. Mark holds PhD, masters, and bachelor degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a certificate in international business from INSEAD

John O'Donnell

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

John is a successful, operationally focused, metrics-driven Chief Financial Officer with 25+ years of experience in publicly traded and privately held technology companies. He joined Unitrends from Prelert, a leading provider of behavioral analytics for IT security, IT operation and business operations teams, where he served as CFO. John has built and led global teams in the areas of corporate finance, human resources, information technology, legal, facilities and risk management. He has extensive experience in capital financings, board level discussions as well as customer and strategic partner negotiations, and a strong background in international operations, SaaS operations and M&A transactions.

Lisa Crawford

CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

Lisa is our Chief People Officer and is responsible for defining and driving Unitrends’ overall talent management strategy. She is an experienced HR executive, Organizational Development practitioner and strategic partner who focuses on the connections between talent development activities and business imperatives on a global basis. Her 25-year career spans several industries and areas of specialization with a single-minded belief: that actively engaged employees are a company’s #1 competitive advantage.

Bob Antia

CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER

Bob has spent more than 25 years managing and delivering IT Risk, Governance, Architecture and Operations programs and projects in the Financial, Healthcare and IT Service Delivery industries both domestically and internationally. Bob has CRISC, CISM and CISSP certifications. Bob is currently President of the Boston InfraGard Chapter.

Joe Balazs

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING, CLOUD, AND MANUFACTURING

Joe is responsible for all of Unitrends’ engineering, support and manufacturing. Joe brings Unitrends over 30 years of impressive industry knowledge and experience, which has already proven invaluable during Balazs’ tenure on Unitrends’ Advisory Board. Balazs has contributed his expertise to expanding the backup and disaster recovery company in areas of business development, sales, marketing and technology strategies.

Eli J. Kalil

VICE PRESIDENT OF GLOBAL CHANNEL SALES

Eli Kalil is responsible for leading all aspects of Unitrends channel sales, which encompasses managed service providers, distribution, DMR/LARS, and systems integrator partnerships and associated revenues worldwide.

Eli recently served as SVP of global partner sales at Mimecast where he led and grew a $200M email security channel led business. He was also the channel chief at HP security, now HP Enterprise, over four years created a $400M software BU. He was also one of the original architects and channel executives at RSA Security,  managing a $300M channel prior to its acquisition by EMC. He has led sales creating revenue generating partner programs for other leaders in the software and hardware industry such as Safenet, SAP, IBM, and Dell.

Daniel Wixon

VICE PRESIDENT, CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Dan leads Unitrends’ global Customer Success organization. His charter in this role is to delight Unitrends customers by providing an unrivaled customer experience from onboarding to ongoing support and technology refresh. Dan brings over 30 years’ experience in Customer Support and Service Delivery including brands Gateway, Dell and Web.com. Prior to joining Unitrends, Dan was Sr. VP of Services for a regional datacenter and cloud services leader, Peak 10 Inc where he oversaw Customer Support, Product, Managed Services and Cloud Operations.

Bo Thurmond

VICE PRESIDENT OF NORTH AMERICA SALES

Bo Thurmond is an accomplished, results-oriented sales professional with more than 20 years of management experience at technology companies in a variety of growth stages. Prior to joining Unitrends, Thurmond served as Vice President of Sales for Pwnie Express, an IOT security company.  Previously, Thurmond served as Vice President of North American Sales at Digital Lumens, where he played an integral role in growing sales over 400% in three years. He has also held executive sales positions at Sanbolic (acquired by Citrix), Mazu Networks (acquired by Riverbed), Arrowpoint (acquired by Cisco) and Shiva (acquired by Intel).  Thurmond started his career at IBM and is a graduate of Northeastern University.

Alex Alvarez

VICE PRESIDENT, ALLIANCES

Alex joined Unitrends from Riverbed Technology, where he held senior global leadership positions in sales and field operations, most recently as VP, Global Enterprise Solutions. Alex was a key driver in growing Riverbed’s Performance Management business unit revenue from $12 million to $250 million, while transforming the company from single product sales to a fast-growing, multi-solution vendor – with 39 percent of customers purchasing the portfolio. Prior to Riverbed, Alex was a key contributor to Mazu Networks’ successful exit. He also held senior sales, business development, and marketing positions at NetMon2, Network Associates and Santa Cruz Operation.

Michael Triplett

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Michael Triplett is a managing partner and joined Insight in 1998. Mike focuses on investments in Infrastructure and Application Software companies and has been instrumental in investments in more than twenty companies, many of which have achieved fast growth and realized significant value for shareholders and employees. Notable among these are the IPOs of Click Commerce, Solarwinds Inc. (NYSE: SWI), and Quest Software, and the acquisitions of Aelita Software (acquired by Quest Software) Authorize.net (acquired by Go2Net), Astaro (acquired by Sophos), Imceda Software (acquired by Quest Software), Folhamatic (acquired by Sage plc), eEye Digital Security (acquired by BeyondTrust), and ScriptLogic (acquired by Quest Software). Recently Mike has invested in several companies in Brazil, in addition to his investments in Europe and the United States.

Paul Strelzick

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Paul Strelzick has almost 30 years of experience in high technology developing and executing efficient and profitable sales models and growth strategies. Mr. Strelzick recently served as EVP, President of Worldwide Sales, at SolarWinds, the leading network and infrastructure management company. In his decade with SolarWinds he lead through the successful IPO in 2009 and the $4.5B P/E buy-out by Thoma Bravo and Silver Lake Partners in 2016. Prior to joining SolarWinds, Mr. Strelzick held executive and senior management positions at MessageOne, Permeo Technologies, Legato and CA Technologies and at while at NetIQ led the Americas sales team through an IPO and an extended period of rapid growth.

Kevin Klausmeyer

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Kevin has served on our board of directors since August 2014. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Hortonworks, Inc., the open source “big data” architecture company, Callidus Software Inc., a provider of software-as-a-service sales and marketing automation solutions, and various privately-held companies. From April 2013 to October 2013, Mr. Klausmeyer served on the board of directors of Sourcefire, Inc., a provider of network security solutions (acquired by Cisco Systems). From July 2003 to September 2012, Mr. Klausmeyer served on the board of directors of Quest Software, Inc., a software company (acquired by Dell, Inc.).

From July 2006 to February 2011, Mr. Klausmeyer served as the Chief Financial Officer of The Planet, Inc., a hosting and cloud-based solutions company (acquired by Softlayer Technologies, Inc. which was acquired by IBM). He previously served as CFO of various other technology companies.

Mr. Klausmeyer holds a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Texas.
