Unitrends Customer Support Team Again Wins Gold & Silver Stevie Awards

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – February 24, 2018 – Unitrends was presented with a Gold and a Silver Stevie® Award in the Customer Service Department of the Year competition in the 12th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. In particular, Unitrends was awarded a Gold Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year – Computer Software – 100 or More Employees and a Silver Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year – Computer Hardware.

    

The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top honors for customer service, contact center, business development and sales professionals. The Stevie Awards organizes seven of the world’s leading business awards programs, also including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM  and International Business Awards®.

More than 2,500 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year’s competition. Winners were determined by the average scores of more than 150 professionals worldwide in seven specialized judging committees.

Unitrends was recognized for expert, around-the-clock support for backup, cloud, and disaster recovery and predictive analytics that alert customers to potential problems before their critical business data is compromised or lost. In the Software category, Unitrends won the top Gold award in a field of 40 competitors. As a winner, the judges noted Unitrends’ predictive analytics that use machine learning to analyze data change rates and notify IT administrators when patterns suggest ransomware is encrypting files in the background. Automated alerts and outreach from our Customer Support team warn IT administrators of potential problems so corrective action can be taken ahead of an outage.

In 2017, Unitrends continued to act as a front line of defense against downtime by expanding proactive monitoring with a focus on IT resilience. This monitoring system acts as a gateway to observe, anticipate, and prevent the following events: ransomware infection, data loss, downtime, recovery failure, hardware failure.  Over the last several years, Unitrends has a tradition of garnering customer service awards from the Stevie organization, including Gold and Silver wins in 2017.

The awards were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Friday, February 23 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV. More than 600 executives from the U.S.A. and several other nations attended.
